About the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology Science Fund

CSCO Science funds are non-profit social charitable grants, including CSCO-Kanglaite fund established in September 2001 sponsored by Zhejiang Kanglaite Pharmaceutical Corporation, and CSCO-Novartis fund established in April 2004 sponsored by Beijing Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The funds provide merit awards for excellent academic articles and scientific research, support publication of academic contributions and further studies abroad, grant for practical research topic in clinical oncology. CSCO-Norvatis fund is exclusively for advance studies abroad. All CSCO members, particularly younger physicians, are eligible to apply the funds.

The Executive Committee, consists of nine experts headed by Academician Wu Meng-Chao and Sun Yan. And the Academic Committee, consists of 37 experts, are invited by CSCO to manage the funds appropriately for selection and award of funds. Application guidelines will be announced in the beginning of every year. The applicants should apply to CSCO office before the deadline.The recipients will be selected exclusively by the Academic Committee, and reported to the Executive Committee for approval.
