The 2nd Multidisplinary Cancer Management Course in China

 

The 2 nd Multidisplinary Cancer Management Course (MCMC) will take place 13-14 July 2007, in Shanghai, China. This educational event is cosponsored by American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO).

Carrying the aim of offering such continued educational course to physicians, nurses and health care professionals in developing countries, ASCO and CSCO enhanced this educational event by means of providing new teaching material to all the participants. The main topics will include multidisciplinary approach to cancer management, cancer biology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, cancer prevention and screening, clinical trial and biostatistics and so on.The attendees will get the theory of multidisciplinary treatment for cancer and contemporary oncology treatment concepts by taking lectures, case presentations, technical demonstrations and group interactions.

The faculty is organized by ASCO and CSCO, and directed by Tony SK Mok, M.D. and Shun Lu M.D. A distinguished group of clinical oncologists from the United States, Austria, Hong Kong and mainland China is invited to give lectures or lead the case presentations. An estimated of 150 participants form different discipline and areas of expertise will attend the course.
